This young man was from our town

This story of Brian Ernst captivated our entire community. He was a bright, funny, and very athletic young man who loved life, his family, and baseball. This disease came upon him in the blink of an eye. He just recently passed away and took the breath out of all of us.

After reading this story I am now a HUGE Tex fan. I liked him when he played at Tech, pulled for him when he played for the Rangers, and loved it when the Braves had him for a short while.

Thank you Tex for taking the time to bring a smile to Brian.
