I can already see where this is going to go, but I thought it was a pretty good piece for those interested.

I like it. I believe that each player must find their comfort zone in terms of distance but I think he's right in that you can push and train for longer distances. The body can do amazing things if you train it to do such things. But you cannot say something like "all pitcher will only go back as far as 200 feet" because some want, can and able to throw farther.

I hope it catches on.
Interesting article...I've always been a fan of long toss, as tolerated but I've never really tried to push it. Important to do the preworkout and post workout strengthening with the surgical tubing, though. Not only strengthens but also protects the shoulder/rotator cuff. The four small muscles which make up the cuff need strengthening to prevent injury.
