Guessing this is little league fighting other coaches guy.

That is great that there is good video of the whole thing. That is a threat that should never be verbalized, coach should be punished.
There is a distinction between words and actions. The kid was a little miscreant. Even his coach had to tell him to back off. Much to do about nothing. Umps handled it well.
These umpires handled this great.

Agree. Everybody shut up and play ball.
Yep, umpires did a great job. I thought the coach of the team that was winning handled it well, too... Told his player to shut up, stood up for his team and talked to the umpires about it.
The umpires hands it perfectly. Given there's video the threatening coach should be reported. He's a young coach who needs to grow up a little. Just telling him he will be fired by the school or suspended by the league if it happens again should be sufficient.
Couple of things I learned from this video:
1) funky beard cuts are not limited to Californians
2) the word "head" is apparently two syllables now

Right on...I thought it was great he told his own player to shut-up. This could've escalated so quickly.

You spelled it wrong. He said heyad.

My first thought was the coach is Amish.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

That would be so cool if there were some Amish teams. They would have horses drag the fields and play their night games with a shit ton of lanterns. Scoreboard would be Wrigley style and the announcer would have to yell.

Plus they would make their own bats and gloves. No broadcasting the games though!

I'm sure they would have the nicest fields too.
I guess they do play

What was that coach thinking. Never TELL them you are going to throw at their head.

Or better yet never throw at anyone's head. Go out and get better so that your play shuts them up instead of bush league threats. Honestly, if the kid was talking trash then tell the coach and let him deal with it. But sounds like they started the trash talking though.
What about those black unis, though?

Tempers are high. Everybody's frustrated. I get it. In a 19-0 game something is definitely wrong. Instead of offering to throw at kids helmets maybe you ask the other coach if he can get his players to tone it down.
Or better yet, sometimes you just gotta eat the shit sandwich so you can get on with your life.
I'm guessing with the age of the pissed off coach he probably felt losing 19-0 reflected poorly on him as a coach with the parents. It's not uncommon for there to be all kinds of back stories in these situations. What is the losing team's record? What happened last game? How many times have they been mercies? Are the parents grumbling about the coach and he's aware of it? Is there a parent running to someone with power behind the coach's back?
It's still a bad move to suggest throwing at players. It's not real classy for a player on the team leading 19-0 to be mouthing off. That the kid had more to say during the argument says a lot about his attitude. But handle it with the other coach. Have him tell his player to shut up.
