He looks much more natural as a right hander. Looks terrible from the left side. what kind of velocity does he have?
I'm surprised he's not getting more interest from pro teams. Just late round consideration. He throws 91 MPH from the right side which is decent and then he turns around and throws lefthanded. There's really no reason for this kid not to be drafted in the Top 25 rounds. He has put up very good numbers at Creighton this year. Like said in the article, a two for one deal.
I dont think he looks horrible from the left side. I think he just has a different style of delivery but hey give the kid a break he throws with both arms...most of us can't even eat with both hands.
I shoudn't say horrible,he just looks like a natural right hander trying to throw left handed, I admit it is pretty cool that he is good enough with his off hand to pitch at that level.
