Brandon Kumpe and Jason Hughes combined on a five-hitter and 12 strikeouts here Tuesday as New Boston surprised Liberty-Eylau, 10-8. Justin Waltz, Hughes and Michael England all had two hits for the Lions, while Cory Wells paced L-E with two singles.
