Time for New Glove?

Hey,

I've had a Rawling HOH for 2 1/2 years and its a real good glove. But I don't know whats happening but I suddenly started dropping some balls randomly.

The glove isn't floppy, but it doesn't have a great shape- I didn't do a good job shaping it when I got it. Now thats its very much broken in (I used it ALOT, I'm a year-round player) maybe its time to get a new one.

Before I drop close to 200 bucks on a new glove- is there something I can do to preserve it? Some sort of oil. I know that gloves cannot be reshaped.

Has his ever happened to anybody?

I don't know how it's shaped or what size glove it is, but try tighting the laces. They are leather and stretch out. Try focus on closing the glove, also.

Yes Id re-lace it so it tightens up.I too have a HOH catchers glove,and I tighten it up every few months.

Id stay away from oils.They have never worked well for me

I'll be honest: I don't know how to. I'd rather not send it in anywhere, I use it almost everyday- is there anyway I can do it on my own- with a video tutorial?

I'll ask any of my coaches or teammates also. Someones bound to know...

Yea I too have a Rawling HOH. I don't like it as much as my A200 because there is too much padding in the palm for my taste. When I use my A200 I never drop balls but with the HOH I always drop a few due to the padding. If I were you I'd go out and buy a PUDGE A200.
