Time to Rank 'Em!

Many baseball organizations, including NJCAA and Perfect Game, publish JUCO rankings. Why would you think the assortment of moms and dads and coaches and players on this site would have better insight on the subject?

I'll take s stab at it:

Johnson County
Crowder
Heartland
Fort Scott

My son's team just played Wabash Valley CC in Florida this weekend. Boy could they rake. They had some men playing who crushed a couple of HRs and a few ropes off the walls.

Their pitching was pretty good too. A couple of hard thowers with pretty good off speed stuff also. They are ranked in the top 20 of D1 JUCOs.

Swampboy, it's a good thing to get commments from people who might have actually seen some of the ranked teams.

You've got to put Jeffco (Jefferson County Community College-near St Louis) in the mix.

Sam Carel has done a great job there and many of his guys have moved on to do well at D1's.

Mark Buehrle, Chicago (Whitesox) is their most famous alum.

Also, John Logan College near Carbondale, IL.
Impressive list of guys moving on to D1's.

Heartland-Normal, IL(previously mentioned)is JUCO DII, but has done a great job of attracting some very good players! I think this might only be their 4th season of existence? 2 of our former Summer kids are there and they love it!

Also, may want to consider Maple Woods-Kansas City.
They had a shortstop a few years back who was pretty good! He was drafted by St Louis in the 13th round and signed for $60,000.
I heard he might be getting a bit more than that in his next contract?

Heartland is off to another good start but Parkland is always very dangerous
