Slang, combined with grouchiness, and sarcasim,...grrrrrr,..it just taints the thread of the post.

Redhead,...good pointers! After living in Hawaii myself for over 5 years,..I can kind of understand ( didnt say agree with )Trick daddy's language,..the youth over there speak alot of "Pigeon ",...you dont hear "yes sir" or "no mam" very often over there by the youth. Different lifestyle,..different languages, different manners. It was good of you to give him a "heads up" as to what can be helpful here on the mainland!
Trickdaddy, in all seriousness, what event are you participating in and what is your year of graduation? My intent was not to blow off your question, I was (in an admittedly snarky way) trying to let you know that you've reached a point where you may be corresponding with scouts, recruiters and other very influential people and it would behoove you to lose the slang, lingo "pigeon", what ever you want to call it. Come back Trickdaddy! We're here to help!!! Big Grin
I too am going to my first showcase. I will be a 2007 grad. I am a catcher, pop time 2.0, I batted.467 this summer thru 49 games with Am Legion, usually in the 4 or 5 position. Caught 46 of 49 games (the 3 I didn't catch, my coach wanted me to have a break...still DH'd in those games) Call all of my own games, because that is what my coaches wanted me to do. Looking for good tips so that I can get some exposure. Not many camps for Illinois players that I have found.
