Sorry I missed your question Tex. Kinda silly but when he was I think 7 or 8 playing youth ball, he and friends went thru a stage when they gave each other nicknames using foods. He had long curly hair that stuck out all over the place and that's what they came up with. It sort of stuck with some of his old buddies and coaches. Gotta love those days of innocence.

Some of his more recent nicknames may not have made for an appropriate moniker.
