A friend emailed me this poem and I immediately thought of our little group. I did make one little edit to the poemSmile

I send to you a Christmas wish,
My ladies near and far,
Comraderies, though ne'er we've met,
Soul sisters that we are.

We're not alike, we're young or old,
Black, white or in between,
We're large or small, and short or tall,
We're muscular or lean.

While some are married, some are not,
And lots of us are mom's,
Some have kids in diapers still
While some are planning proms.

And though at times we don't agree,
We're free to speak our mind,
And when someone is feeling down,
The group's support is kind.

But what we have in common is
Our thread that binds us tight,
It's love for our kids,
For teaching them what's right..

To nurture them with hugs and hope,
To build their self esteem
Protecting them from dangerous paths
To help them live their BASEBALLdream.

So here's to you, my unseen friends,
A toast to lasting health,
And may this Happy New Year bring
Much happiness and wealth.

Luvbb...you must have been a girl this year!!!

Texas2004...allow me to introduce you to the fabulous world of Coach. I have to warn you that once you own a Coach bag you will be hooked..a few of the ladies lounge members can testify to that. The fact they are inspired by old fashioned baseball gloves, makes them extra special. You will quickly learn where the Coach Outlets are and how to spot a knock-offs on E-Bay

Here is the history of the Coach from Coach

Coach began more than half of a century ago as a family-run workshop in a Manhattan loft. Six artisans handcrafted a collection of high-quality leathergoods using skills passed down from generation to generation. Discerning consumers soon began to seek out the high standards of Coach workmanship.

The founder of Coach was first inspired by a baseball glove when he saw its distinctive markings and how supple it became with use. After refining it, making it softer and stronger, he created Coach's first handbag. Since then, innovations in leather finishes, new grains and colors, and modern materials continue to fascinate us. But this glove-tanned leather remains a Coach tradition. And it still burnishes as beautifully as it did back when Babe Ruth played baseball.

Throughout the years, Coach has maintained the highest standards of workmanship and materials. Now, greatly expanded, Coach's exceptional workforce is committed to carefully upholding the principles of quality and integrity which made the company great. Today, Coach is considered a classic part of the landscape of American design.

HotMama,

Thanks for sharing that BEAUTIFUL poem...I agree completely with your sentiments regarding the fine ladies who frequent this forum. I know that I can count on any and all of you for information and support at any time and I will do the same for you. Cool

Now, I have one request...can you post a picture of one of those Coach bags...you've got my curiosity juices flowing and I just HAVE to see what one looks like. Smile

Happy New Year to everyone! Smile

Hotmama....I'm lucky enough to have a Coach outlet down the road from my house! thumb
Unfortunately, I have to wait a season before the current styles reach the outlet. I've got my eye open for one in particular...did you see the current suede style with the funky fringe tassel on the closure part? Very retro 60's looking....LOVE IT! Big Grin
Hotmama,
Thanks for sharing............now
How Do I Find a Coach Outlet?????
Just got my first one this summer and BOY oh BOY. A friend of mine has their briefcase/satchelly thingie and I want one. (But would rather not pay FULL $$)
