Tommy Smith was 3 for 3 against Lipscomb the other day! It's great to see him back and healthy.

Another note --- One of Andy's ex-Vol State teammates, Alfredo Burkeen played well in the same game. 'fredo has also struggled with some injuries the past couple of seasons.

AP getting these two guys back will make a huge difference this year.

Looking at the Peay season stats... Tommy has a 5 game hitting streak. His worse performance of the year has been three 2 for 4 games. He is hitting at a .647 clip. Hard work does pay off!

Thanks for the kind words. Tommy just wants to stay healthy and have a good year. He had another good weekend. He was very happy but reminded me what Coach Peterson (MTSU) told him one time when he attended a summer camp at Middle. If you haven't had a bad game lately, then you're not playing enough ball. But he did say he was going to enjoy it while it lasts.
