I agree with you LionPop, Mckinney VS Sherman should be a great game but with all due respect to the other teams in the district, Mckinney is the favorite everytime they step on the field because of their starting pitchers. I will say that I believe Sherman has the best chance to beat them, especially at their home park. I'm not sure who is throwing for them but I think the little lefty gives them the best shot. My upset prediction is Liberty over Wakeland. I think Durham throws another gem at home against a great hitting Wakeland team.
LA, I love the quote attached to your posts!! I have heard great things about Mr. Adair from former players and coaches. Alot of people admired him! No wonder, if this quote is from him!! Sound like a man that put God first in his life!! thank you for sharing this little reminder!!

How was the game in Sherman?

In all the game was good, but both teams had errors that they should not be making. We ended up seeing both Powell and Liss. (Powell started and Liss came in) They both pitched well and we were fortunate to get 6 runs across.

Lee finished very strong, 7th inning was what you hope to see from a pitcher with a three run lead.

Powell hit a monster home run to straight center for Sherman.

BTW, agree with Robert. The burgers were awesome last night!
I watched the North VS Frisco game. Very impressed with Ladd -- it wasn't his best performance as he didn't have the command I think he normally does but it's easy to see how he leads the metroplex in K's. North is a s****** bunch and obviously well coached. Frisco hit the ball well but pitchers walked 10 or 11 batters -- tough to win at any level with that many free passes.

Agree 100%. I watched him throw that breaking ball that hits the dirt in front of the plate to get the third strike 4 or 5 times in the same game. When it is working it is about as sharp breaking as I have seen in HS.

North doesn't have as much overall talent as past years but they still have some outstanding players.

This is not news to anyone who has seen him pitch, but, if you happen to win a game at North, be sure to not get on their field without a bodyguard.

I think it is just coaches' wives that there is an issue with.

And knowing her........I'm sure you will intimidate her to never do it again.......

Can't remember the last time a team in this district had a 3 game lead, maybe the 2006 North team? Looks like a decent team will be left out.

Agree 100%
If you look at some of the matchups remaining it is hard to say which four will be in. I'm impressed with Liberty, if they have Durham on the hill they can beat anybody. (I guess what I really mean is I am most surprised by Liberty)
