I hear them boys from Greenfield have some talent, anyone have any powerhouse predictions for this upcoming spring?!?

Hardest thrower that I saw during summer ball was Colin Bates from Naperville North. I only saw him throw one inning, but it was brisk.

i definatly agree with you about cedric redmond from joliet. this kid has great velocity and a good curve. not to mention his windup is a lil herky jerky and very hard to pick up from the batters box. good call on cedric.

This is my first year in high school baseball.How is the pitching at the 6a level in oklahoma

There's a boy playing at Maple Woods Community College in MO that is extremely good. Was their top guy last year as a freshman and also played for the Mankato Moondaogs as a freshman last summer and ended with a 3.1 ERA there. Was one of their top guys there as well. Allowed NO earned runs this fall. Turned down an opportunity to sign with several D1 schools during the early signing period.

The boy's name is Joey Haug.

This is a HS site but why would a kid turn down a D 1 offer as a juco guy...signing early makes life much more fun.

Wants to play for a TOP D1 school. ASU and FSU asked him to wait.

OK, that explains it. He was probably the only guy that they said that to. I m sure FSU and ASU will have all kinds of time to recruit and evaluate during their own season.
Glad to hear that kid has done well but it seems he is bring manipulated by the process.

Kinda hopin Coach Schreiber takes a liking to my 07 this spring...he wants to study Pharmacy and Purdue has a great pharmacy program...and it sure would be nice to have him close enough that I can see him play

I'd say Randy Schuster of Mishawaka, Indiana (Northern Indiana) looks to have a dominating year and if Todd Messana of Mishawaka wasn't suspended half the season he would be all conference as well. They have a great staff this year.

our team has a sophomore, i know not a senior, but anyway, he throws about 97 with wicked curve, slider, and slurve. in our first game he struck out 13 batters in 5 innings. he always pitches out of the wind up too and has a very good motion to first. a SOPH. mark shaver, RHP, St. Croix Central

BUT...no one in WI (except some of the Brewers) throws 97...especially a sophmore in HS.

I believe he meant 97 kilometers per hour. Isn't Wisconsin pretty much like Canada, and they're on the metric system. He doesn't seem to need a pickoff move because no one ever gets on base

Tyler Lundy of Minot, ND has to be considered. he was named to 2 different all america teams. He threw a 3 hitter against Rapid City Post 22 and got the win.
