Well we have been here before but I guess it is more appropriate now that they are going into their Junior year.
Coppell has several top level players, Johnny Walsh - the only 2009 in DFW going to the Area Code Games as a 2009, Chad Kettler, Jacob Morris and my favorite Austin Elkins.
Meat is playing with several other this year, Max Muncy (Keller) can flat out play all day and all night, Ryan Mossakowski(Frisco Centennial) is an all everything baseball player and I hear he is a better QB. Ryan Payne (Hebron)actually looked better than both before getting hit by a pitch in the face, I'm betting he returns strong in the fall. Several others look good but are coming off injuries and I haven't seen them play enough to mention here but I bet someone will. Actually, there is one more, Rick Cruz (South Grand Praire)can chase down any ball in centerfield and has a fair stick.

This is a little different perspective to look at it but what 2009 players do you think have the best potential and tools to maybe carry their career on to the Major League?

Murray is one great ballplayer. He and OPson had a 9 inning shutout pitchers duel this spring. I couldn't believe the kid was a sophomore! Great future ahead of him for sure.
When you are talking about making it in MLB, you better be big. Nowadays its difficult to find players under 6'0" on the rosters. Even the lefties are big. So maybe the we should catagorize who has the size, potential, and ability.
After a good showing in Atlanta, four Tigers were invited to the PG Aflac in San Diego in a couple of weeks. This is a showcase game billed to be for the top '09s and held the day before the regular Aflac game. Walsh, Kettler, Morris (all Coppell) and Verhagen (Heath). Walsh is also going to Area Code.
