While I don't think there are even 20 teams worth mentioning....I do agree with BigDude about Nashua, the Manchester teams and I would add Keene...

Also, although I have never seen them play, coachC's team had a great year last year.

I believe the original question posed was about top school teams. How many NH school teams are you familiar with? Top players often pass on Legion to play on select teams...The Keene Legion tournament may not be the right place for you to formulate your opinions about where NH teams rank.

No need to apologize Moundmaster....
Different venues for different states, as you suggest.
Most of the boys in our area who are fortunate to play college ball are in that position because of the "other" ball they opted for summers...

NHBaseball...Who are your upperclassman pitchers with varsity experience?

chill,i'm a dad from portsmouth. i gather from some of your post' you are maybe from nashua? anyway curious as to what other ball kids up your way play. we are pretty limited aau stopped for is at 15 ,my son played with the wildcats that year, seawolves befor that but it seems ,to me anyway other than getting a team together to make a run they don't play as many games as they get older ,so legion seems the obvious, but i'm learning everyday thanks

Not from Nashua but Nashua is a good example.
Those talented boys played AAU longer than 15...Take Wasserman, Nestor, Rose, Kownack, Morris and Logan off a potential American Legion team and you have hurt yourself.

My son played longer, too. He played with the Winnacunnet boys who had Towler, Clifford, McDonnell, McKenna and Mather...
A Top catcher...3 top pitchers and a great hitting shortstop who could have certainly helped a Legion team...Right?

That's where I'm coming from. And, geographically, some Legion teams are doomed from the get go with which schools they dictate can draw from which area.
