any thoughts on which college programs have the highest respected/ best catching coaches at the division 1 or juco level.

I know Kevin Schnall from Coastal Carolina is very good.
I would have to put Mike Martin Jr. and the rest of the FSU staff pretty high on the list. The Giants sure appreciated them this year. 
Seriously, with Chip Baker as the Director of Baseball Operations and MM Jr., they have two good former catchers around to develop players. They run excellent camps and the catchers get a lot of instruction there.

Got to agree with you on Coach Schnall. My son attended Coastal a while back and said Kevin was top notch working with him and all the other catchers.

Patrick, a great one in Kansas is mike gehrer from Wichita. You could google him, I know he has some winter camps and I think he has a DVD.... Very good guy to work with.
Agree with backstop.....have gone to FSU camps for last four years and Mike Martin Jr. Is the best in the business. Really does a great job of connecting with the players. Really has a good eye which allows him to tweak mechanical flaws in the kids.
