It seems that each year very talented seniors emerge that either didn't get alot of press, or received limited press. No doubt that the "name" 05's will end up being joined a group that are relatively unknowns who end up dominating. Also, in some cases vary talented junior position players don't pitch much (or at all) and end up pitching their senior year out of either need or they have committed to a college and do so to help their team.
TR Hit and friends;

Thank you for this information on the 2005 high school pitchers.

Please have the players complete a player profile on the web site <www.areacodebaseball.org> and I will mail an invitation to the players for the Montreal Expos Area Code Team tryout June 16 at the U of Miami.

There is no fee to enter this pro tryout.

You are invited to attend as a guest of Nike and Area Code™ Baseball.

Dean is the REAL DEAL !! How about the sophomore pitcher from Vernon, I heard he did very well this spring. Where is he playing summer ball.

Also, for any who read these boards, our team (Team Florida USA) has had a couple injuries to pitchers and are looking for a couple VERY GOOD arms for the remainder of the summer schedule. If interested, email me at:

Thank you
He is playing with his HS team about once a week. He also plays in a Sunday league some. Last time I talked to him he was going to try and find someone who played good competition but with most of the games on the weekend next year as it is a to late now. His FB workouts dont allow him to play a lot during the week, and as much as they throw the football in July he doesnt pitch any then. He did have a good year, but his mechanics went to pot at the end of the year.
