I would have to agree that Elk Grove is at the top of the MSL. Lots of talent and they are putting it to good use.

Conant is 4-0 in the MSL. Victories over Barrington, Schaumburg, Fremd, and Hoffman Estates. Game against Palatine on friday at Conant.

So far it is Conant and Elk Grove. Don't write Barrington off quite yet though....they have not played much good baseball so far and they are still in the hunt.

yea I think either Elk Grove or Prospect has a really good shot to win the MSL East and either Barrington or Paltine in the West..I think Conant is going to drop down...and don't forget about those Hoffman Estates Hawks they always give teams trouble

but my prediction who will be playing that crucial May 20th baseball game is Elk Grove @ Barrington

Ive seen Conant, and they are a decent ballclub; but they are not even close to a top team. Elk Grove is head and shoulders above the rest of the conference.

If Conant beats Palatine this evening, you guys better start talking about them being a serious conttender in the West

ELk Grove is still the team to beat, even though the Hawks handled them pretty good from what I understand.

While Elk Grove started out fast, they fell again yesterday to Palatine 7-3, and they have lost 4 of their last 5. Rolling Meadows more than handled Conant 12-2 in 5 innings. Once again, the East is going to go down to the final few games with 2 teams at 4-2, 3 teams at 3-3, and one at 2-4. Conant is still ahead in the West, but never count Barrington out, and Palatine will be there as well.

We are in a slump right now. But we will snap out of it next game...We arent hitting well right now, but practice is the key.

Elk Grove bounced back today with a nice win over Schaumburg 7-0...hopefully all the other east teams fell for us.
