If Juniors are considered, then Kettler, Morris, and Walsh at Coppell all have to be at or near the top of people's lists.
Underclassman, in my mind would be freshman or sophmores.

the promotion of certain players and teams is out of control. Plano (all of Plano) and McKinney (all of McKinney) seem to be the worst offenders. I am sure many of these posters are very knowledgeble baseball people, however promotion and bias of individual players and teams in these area's give other posters on here a negative impression of your area's. Especially the fans/parents.
It is nice to here about outstanding performances; 3 hr's in one game, handing a top HS pitcher his first career loss, beating one of the top pitchers in the state, etc. But to demand a certain team be ranked no. 1. Or imply a certain player is better than anybody else shows ignorance. In this case, ignorance means you don't appear to know the entire landscape of baseball in DFW, much less Texas as a whole.
I am not trying to offend anybody, as I would hope all new posters would continue to contribute. I want to hear about outstanding performance's on the field, by both players and teams. This is how I gain my knowledge. I want to see threads about the top 2008, 2009, 2010, etc., players. However, I personally don't want to see the same thread about the same players or teams all the time.

I may be in the minority, and I don't always disagree with PD, but he sure likes to jump on anyone who has an opinion that doesn't match his. Absolutely correct and the only reason tigerbalm would be in the the minority is because they have run off a lot of poster with their group think menality. My hand is raised!!!!!!!!!!!
I always thought underclassman meant Frosh & Soph, Trenton Layne (Soph) at Flower Mound, but the kid is on JV, That will change soon if they keep losing. Adam Toth (Coppell-Frosh) looked impressive over the weekend.

I think it is fairly easy to detect the "promoters" on the site and they are ignored. As far as Plano and McKinney go, I have not seen anyone demanding certain players or teams be ranked a certain way. In addition, I believe we in North Texas know that Houston, Austin, San Antonio etc. are full of great teams and players. That is why when we were younger we always had to go elsewhere to truly see how our teams measured up.

Isn't that the truth! I wish more posters from the those areas would get involved. They have tremendous talent and you hear about it from venues other than the Texas Forum.

I may be wrong here but isn't Austin Elkins a junior too for Coppell
In my mind the top positon player in the D/FW area is Abel Baker. The kid can flat out swing the baseball bat. He has great movement behind the plate, and you won't catch any runners trying to steal on this kid. He boasts an impressive 1.8 p

This is not Austin Baker just a person who knows that Abel is the real deal
