Don't get Total Texas Baseball and Jason Becker's Inside Prep Baseball Preview Edition confused with each other. The Inside Prep Baseball Publication is out on the stands - that's the one that contains the story on West Texas Baseball, Klein Collins, Matlock, Gatewood, etc. The issue of Total Texas Baseball that will include extensive preseason high school coverage, is due out Feb. 5. I believe you can view the cover of that upcoming issue by clicking on the banner above.
Kurt Daniels here, editor of Total Texas Baseball.

Just wanted to jump on and clarify. Hawkman is right, our next issue is due to be mailed out the week of February 5. We print 10 times a year, February-November, so like the rest of you baseball fans out there, we're shaking off the winter doldrums and gearing up for an exciting spring.

Going to have a big high school and college preview in our next issue. You can find out more by visiting totaltexasbaseball.com. Hope you'll find it interesting and entertaining.

Keep those ideas coming. We love the feedback.

Thank you,
Kurt
Kurt,

How do you not have a corpus christi section in your magazine.

There have been several state champions from this region just in the last 4 years. I think you should add this to your regional previews.

I know you put them into the san antonio region but there are other great teams down in this area.

ie. sinton, calallen, moody, falfurias

just a thought
ctiger,
Believe me, I've been trying to get coverage of Corpus. There's some great baseball being played down there.

We had a Caller-Times reporter early last summer helping out, but his schedule wouldn't allow him to continue writing for us, so I'm afraid we weren't able to give that area the attention it deserved as the season went on.

Fortunately, Lee Goddard with the Caller-Times should be coming on board this year. Hope to have a nice preview of Corpus in our first issue.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Kurt
berknerdad,
In our next issue we're going to have previews of every college team in the state from the big boys like Rice and Texas to the NAIA to the JUCOs.

And, in each issue throughout the year we have reports from every level of college ball in Texas, plus a few features on kids playing for schools outside the state.

Visit our website at totaltexasbaseball.com and click on the box "See Past Covers & Previews". Then click on a cover and you can see previews from a few of the stories that ran that month. Hope that helps!

Thanks,
Kurt
