Situation,
Starter goes 3 1/3
reliever goes 4 2/3
closer goes 1

Starter leaves game losing
reliever pitches to the 9th inning. His team takes the lead by 2 in the top of the ninth. Reliever walks to the mound in bottom of ninth takes his warm ups and the umpires call the game due to lightning in the area. 30 minute delay turns into resuming the next morning. Of course reliever at that point is done.

Closer finishes off game the next day.

Closer get the win because he is shown as POR for the ninth?

Reliever because he was most effective and had the most innings. (Starter would not qualify anyway)

Or reliever gets win and closer the save?

Thanks guys... That is what I assumed but the line score showed it the other way. So I was not sure if I missed something.

Another game in the same tourn showed the winning pitcher as the starter. he went 2 2/3 and left down 9 zip. his team didnt take the lead and win till the 7th.

Official college score keeper during a Conference tournament. Go figure!
