I just graduated from high school. I had a couple schools interested but nothing serious. I enrolled at a DIV 2 school. The coach saw me play in the CIF playoffs. I will have a opportunity to walk on and play ball.  In July a NAIA coach saw me play in a summer tournament and asked if I have committed to any school. I told him I had enrolled at a Div 2 school hoping to play.  The NAIA coach offered me a partial scholarship (not much) but a promise that I would start at 2nd base.

My question is:  If after 2 years at the NAIA school,  the school is really not what I was looking for,  can I transfer to a DIV 2 school and play ball without having to sit out a year.

Yes, you'll have the opportunity to be immediately eligible if you transfer as long as you meet the academic requirements to transfer to Division II, and you're granted your release by the NAIA school.  The academic requirements for a Division II transfer will be changing by Fall 2016, so don't worry about those now, just focus on doing your best, both athletically and academically, at the NAIA school.
