Be sure to stop by the Travel Recommendations forum on HSBBW. There are links to Hotwire and Orbitz which provide HSBBW a small commission for every order/reservation that one of our members makes by first clicking an ad to get to their site. Supposedly they also have a 3-day memory, so that if you click on the ad and research your trip, then go back directly to Orbitz or Hotwire the next day and place your order, the commission still goes to support our website.
I use Hotwire for all my rental cars and found their rates are great and have booked a few rooms through them, too. Even at the last minute they have great prices. I have my company make airline reservations, so I can’t comment personally on either link’s performance there, but I have heard good things.
Anyway, this is an easy way to help MN-Mom with the costs of running the site. Of course she can also accept donations through credit cards and Pay-Pal.
