I have not met him, but my son attended a camp that he ran for a school and he loved the guy. He pulled him aside and gave him some very good baseball and personal advice. He was helping run the Area Code tryouts and seemed like he had a handle on things. I have heard only great things about him.
I've know Nate for probably 10 years - very nice man - definitely cares about the whole person. He has been a youth minister and also a song writer, most notably baseball songs.

As a baseball instructor, where he really shines is infield defense - really knows how to teach taking the right angle, having solid footwork etc. - better than anyone else I have seen. Not to say he isn't good at other aspect of the game - just that he is exceptional at infield defense.
My son just worked with him for the first time yesterday and as a parent, all I can say is "Wow"
He has such a positive presence and has a way of getting immediate respect from parents and players. Not many people can do that,it takes a special person. We were told he is a really good person who knows his stuff. My son walked away yesterday with a great feeling as a player...with continued hard work, strong character and positive perseverence anything can happen.
