Their opportunity for improvement is to schedule the activities better. Some teams had a late game on Friday and Saturday night (get home after 11pm) and then to attend the seminars, had to be back at the field at 8am...and then no games until much later in the day.

My suggestion would be that they should conduct the registration and seminars the first night and then conduct the combine and games on Sat and Sun. Also the games should be scheduled to where the games are back to back where possible. The only breaks would be after the combine...
My son's first college camp he attended was this showcase his sophomore year (two years ago.) He's been to quite a few since then and none of them have been as informative as the UH one. The seminars gave us alot of info. that helped in the whole recruiting process. Funny but we found out about the camp from someone posting on hsbaseballweb about it-otherwise would never have known about it as it was never posted that year on their website.

The coaching staff at UH was great and very involved and they do recruit from it. They started following my son because of that showcase/camp. Ultimately it ended with him getting an offer from them this summer. Although he didn't take the offer, he (and mom & dad) think very highly of the coaches and program. The camp is well worth it.
