I'll be attending the Uconn baseball camp in a couple of days, does anyone have past experience with it? is it a good camp?

Great camp. Coach Penders really has his act together. Lots of good instruction from DI coaches. Well attended showcase on the last morning. We'll be there this week!

i had a great time, i learned a lot about baseball, plenty of exposure and with staying at the dorms i learned a lot about the college, the campus, and what to look for in a school
Glad you had a good time. I found this year that my son didn't get many AB's in the games and that disappointed him. I think most of the coaches had everyone on the team hit even if they weren't playing defense, but my son's coach (very nice guy from Brown U.) only batted kids who were playing in the field at the time. I believe that catchers get shafted in these types of situations. They always seem to set up the teams so that position players play every inning because they have one of each on the team, but they always have multiple catchers who only play half-games. I don't really understand it but it's that way at every camp.
Too bad you missed Bay State Games PopTime. It was by far the best event I've attended w/the most scouts, and for only 50$ you can't beat it. I've already recieved one letter directly from the games.
