UMass is a great place. I have my daughter there and she loves every thing about the school. Coach Stone is one of the classiest D1 coaches that I have had the opportunity to get to know. He puts a great deal of emphasis on character as well as education and baseball. They had a down year in 05' but still had 2 players drafted one who went in the Supplemental 1st round. Nice field, 1st class locker room and the indoor practice area is great. We sent our top 05' player there (freshman) who had a good fall season and could break the starting 9 for the spring.
Have a son in his Junior year at URI, loves it
the program is at the highest level in school history went top the ncaa's last year after winning the A-10 tourny, have had a decent number of player drafted or signed over the last few years, Coach Foster is in his 1st year as head coach but all indications is that he will pick up right were Coach Leoni has left, has a great nucluous of players returning.
I can't see how BA would accuse Leoni of overthrowing Zach. He threw 91 innings in 14 starts. That's not even 7 innings per start.

Torra's don't seem that bad either. 94 innings in 13 starts and 1 relief appearance. Again, about 7 innings per start.

The argument that they're throwing too many pitches could be made, seeing as both were striking out so many hitters.
