It is a good place.
But, wait until the season is in full swing throughout the country. This site is parent driven so you will find that we will have our hands full soon enough.....
You will then remember that when I welcomed you to the board I stated its good to have another umpire on board....
It will not be as "Heavenly" as the off and early season may indicate......we will have our share of tussles and ump bashing........but we try and maintain civility....and I belive our record shows that we most often achieve that.....
As to advice in that area.....when things get ugly, I refuse to contribute to it.....I state my case and let it go....just like on the field dont be baited into continuing or inflaming an arguement. We just want to get back to the game ASAP....

I got you guys....remember I coached varsity baseball for 14 years and a lot of other sports. Parents are the reason I coached and also why I do NOT anymore.
