UNA Baseball

Does anyone know anything about UNA (North Alabama) baseball?  I have noticed they have very few PG commitments for 2023 and 2024 (on e2023 listed).  More recently, they have announced plans to build a new "multi-purpose" stadium on the site of the baseball complex.  One article says it would host baseball, but others list only football and soccer.  For reference, the softball field in about a mile up the road off campus, evidence that they do not have any real vacant land to relocate baseball on campus.  They are new to D1 with a new coach - did not fare well in 2023 and assume they may lean heavily into the portal for their immediate needs.

Won 2 NCAA-D2 national championship (2012, 2017)

Was assistant coach and delaware (2021, 2022)
