UNC vs. MSU

My heart picks Michigan State. My head says NC.

The State game was sweet. My husband and I started dating after that. I must be getting old, can't bring myself to root against the Tarheels.


Of course I "lost" my little brother for about 12 hours during the celebration. He could never tell me what *exactly* happened or where he got to. opps.

I'd say that the head certainly says NC, for all the logical reasons...

But sometimes it seems that these things are in bigger hands for bigger reasons. "...phi slamma jamma losing to NC State..." was the V game. This time will we witness the

Local Team? At Home? Lord knows that area needs all the good news it can get....

Hey the economy in Stem is getting hurt hard too! Deer stand sales are down. Red Man sales are down. Heck I saw some rednecks selling their monster trucks. Give us a break we could use something good to happen too!

Did anybody remember to tell MSU that the championship game is tonight??? UNC is playing unreal right now.

Oh I think they know they are in the championship game. MSU is a very good team. UNC is a great team.

Its not over. But chances are its going to get worse not better for the Green and White.

Congrats to MSU on a great season and a tremendous run in the tourney. They are a class act no doubt. It was just UNC's year.

My wife said during the game "This is so sad. I feel sorry for them. I hate to see anyone lose." I made her go downstairs. lol

While I've always respected Hansborough's talent, last night he played with more passion and enthusiasm than I've ever seen. I liked it!!! Congrats to NC and to Michigan State as well!

Tonight's game may be bigger locally for you guys in or around Storrs, but nationally it's not even close, even considering that this may be a more highly anticipated women's game than usual because there is talk of this UCONN team being the greatest ever (and of Maya Moore being the greatest player ever). But it's quite a stretch to call tonight's game a bigger game...sorry

PS- more along the lines of the topic in this thread, I'm a big fan of Tom Izzo. Every year when I'm filling out my bracket, I generally assume MSU will make a run just based on his preparation and ability to coach.
