Amazing the way this has all played out. Two great teams and coaching staffs battling their way back to the CWS Championship Series. I can't wait to watch it unfold and hope we get as much drama as we had last year.

I predicted championship game would include the most experienced teams.
This is going to be interesting to see how things unfold, pitching will be the key, both teams pitching staff look tired, but I would imagine that where there is a will there is a way to get the job done.
I am wishing both teams good luck, but am hoping the team from the ACC wins the championship.

This year's final has once again thrown my household into conflict and turmoil, because UNC is my wife's alma mater.
Last year we didn't speak until about Christmas.

I would not bet against OSU because they have shown me too much now for three straight years. They have proven they know how to win and they play with extreme confidence. That said, I think UNC has a good shot at them.

I agree that OSU has been under appreciated by many all year. They are a very strong team.
However, UNC is one of my favorite college teams (baseball that is). I respect Fox and enjoy watching that group of kids!

I, of course, am rooting for the BEAVS.
I'm wondering what the mood was like around the Kremer's Thanksgiving Day table...she staring the length of the table with her Tar Heel eyes...and he flashing those Beaver teeth.
I wonder if either of the two ended up with a drumstick? And my goodness...did you hear about the cranberry fight? The ceiling fan still throws off bits and pieces.

As a Beaver fan I'm hoping ..."Thar's Fold in Them Tar Heels!"
OSU deserved to win it last year. They are very good. I felt they were underated coming into the season and they have once again proven alot of people wrong. To me this is anyones championship to win. They are very equal in talent and are both extremely well coached. OSU will be very confident coming in and UNC will be very hungry to get it done this time around. It could be another classic like last year. Im pulling for UNC but its a toss up. Pitching Defense and timely hitting will be the difference but isnt that always the case?
I'm calling for a UNC sweep. Go HEELS.

Although typically an ACC fan I kinda like the Beavers. Got see them in the regionals and I can say for sure they were better than a 3 seed. The game I watched they ended up losing to Virginia in 13 innings but what a battle.

Triple: Beavs will start the freshman Jorge Reyes in the first game, and on Sunday it will be good friend's son Mike Stutes. Stutes will be the teammate of Tiger Paw Mom's son, assuming he signs with St. Louis.

Both teams have shown how you get back to the CWS. You have to go out and recruit freshman pitchers who can get the job done. Jorge Reyes - what a player he is.
