Every year we talk about MLB players who have "comebacks" and one young man who seems to be totally flying under the radar is CARLOS PENA from Haverhill, MA, first sacker with Tampa Bay---the Yankees and Red Sox both had him on their rosters last season

Currently he has 44 home runs, more than the Yankee and Red Sox first sackers combined.

As a side bar my stepson grew up with Carlos and played against him during his youth and HS years so he is truly enjoying seeing Carlos have this type of year

Way to go CArlos !!!!

i am a tiger fan and was heart broken when we let him go. lefty hitters like him who play great defense are a premium for a reason...

but when it is all said and done i am glad he left detroit because it has clearly helped his career

he always seemed like a very nice guy, so it is nice to see him produce.

i just wish was doing it for the tigers lol
