It's a decent state school. It's a great D3 baseball program that's usually ranked. They've won a couple of national titles. Players get drafted from the program. Flaherty is a great coach (member of amateur baseball hall of fame). He's been there a long time.

div 3 baseball has come along way in new england. usm was THE team,they have history.
i think there are more NE schools that recruit now. but they are alway's competitive.
very good coaching staff,your son will get better.
very nice campus, small town but portland is near enough.
they recruited my son out of a CC. he wanted to go there,but he chose a different route.

i think it's a nice school.

st. joes is another d3 school just around the corner from usm. with a decent baseball coach/program. alway's in the mix.
