Son was there for a camp a few years ago. Coach O'Connor was terrific, personable, and cared about a players who were interested in working hard, on and off the field. Great school for a great education!!! Great campus and great college town.

Coaching staff is great, facilities are top notch, and a great education. This coming from a VT grad.
It is definately worth a look if your son has top D1 potential.

Read an article this month that within six years the tuition at UVA and VA Tech "could double"... according to documents filed with the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia... Ouch!

I wholly agree with all of the above...and boy does it pain me to say so!

My son went to a camp there and we were quite impressed with the facilities. Beautiful town and campus. Coaches were very involved and professional. They had one of their most successful seasons in 2009 and are getting serious attention from prospects. A UVA education would be an impressive achievement too. The coaches stressed academics and priority for players from the state of Virginia.

Son was there last summer... coaches were great and the campus was outstanding. Size was great real big and not real small.
