They wants him there to see what his interest are if any. So once hes there they'll talk and feel him out. Then they'll part ways and call you and see where you guys are. You never know sometimes they'll throw hints out there for roles and figures. Good luck with that visit.

Exciting Times! They're obviously interested in your son, probably want to get him on campus to get him excited about their program and see how he responds. Let us know how it goes.

During season and on game day, for an unofficial visit, its more or less to show off the program. Most likely there will be others there as well. Maybe a student assisitant would be there to meet you.
This is your time to pay attention to what goes on during the game.
