Illinois State lost to Austin Peay 9-6, SIU defeated the Northern Illinois Huskies 5-3 and John Logan College defeated the College of DuPage twice; 15-7 in the first game and winning the second contest 14-4.
Northern is now 2-3 on the year, ISU won 2 out of 3 at Austin Peay , SIU is 3-4 on the year and John Logan College is now 11 wins - 5 losses on the season.
Zach Oates a lefty for Northern made his first collegiate start and I am sure the nerves got to him a little bit---allowed 3 hits, 2 earned runs, 3 walks, and no strikeouts in 3 innings in getting the loss..
