2016SouthPaw has been fully released from the doctor to resume ALL baseball activities.
Back in June, 2016SP was contacted by Coach Unger from Waubonsee CC in Illinois, regarding his plans for college. He explained to Coach Unger his dilemma with ACL during senior year. At the time, the kid was still going through rehab and Coach offered him an opportunity to join the program and possibly redshirt if needed.
Early October,
Coach Unger followed up with another phone call and asked the kid if he was interested in a school visit?
it just so happened we were heading to Chicago later in the week for the World Series.
The school visit and meeting with Coach Unger about the Chiefs' baseball program went so well, as soon as we got in the car- the kid made up his mind he was going to continue his baseball dream at Waubonsee CC.

We moved the kid up to Illinois and he starts baseball workouts this morning.
We are very excited to see how he progresses and he gets back in the groove
