The baseball program at William & mary continues to do just fine under Coach Leoni. Greg Sexton was named to 5 All-American teams at the end of last year and was drafted by the Tampa bay Devil Rays.
The facilities are top notch. Plumeri Park is better than many minor league fields. The Colonial Athletic Conference is a verey good conference with a proven track record of producing major and minor league talent. Playing in that conference will surely get you seen by all the scouts.
Just one more thing, do not underestimate the value of a William & Mary diploma if you don't make a zillion dollars in pro baseball.
My son is a first year player there this year. I am a big fan of the coaching staff, and the program is definitely ascending. I fully expect a CAA championship run this year. They ranked first in batting and defense, and there young pitching staff from a year ago is both more seasoned and has been supplemented from some top notch new arms. Facilities are superb with lights, and in excellent condition. The degree speaks for itself.
