I'm a little slow sometimes...so let me apologize to the Gempp family for repeatedly mis-spelling their name.
Being a Bradley grad I like to check on the boys down in Peoria every so often. I never saw Dan Brewer play in HS, but he is leading Bradley in average (.370), on base percentage (.446), slugging (.575) and ops (1.021). He is leading the team in hits, doubles and is tied for homeruns. He has 20 Ks also but he sounds like a kid that is fun to watch with the bat. And he is a Freshman.
Did the kid hit like this in HS?
Go Braves!

Dan Brewer hit even better in high school, breaking a school record for most homerun's,which was held by ISU out fielder, Matt Bolt. Was all-state short-stop in 05,and helped lead his team to a state title as a sophmore.
