When a player gets new information to give to a college (GPA, test scores, etc) 6-12 months after doing the initial questionnaire, is it best to completely redo the questionnaire? Or just email the coach directly with updates?
I am sure this topic has been addressed before, but my searches did not turn it up. Thanks.

If it is beneficial or an improvement, I would do both.

Son used updates (new transcript, SAT scores, upcoming showcase, end of season numbers) as a reason to e-mail the coach, continuing the communication. I would agree with Picked Off to do both if son is freshman or sophomore.
