USA Today - Super 25 National High School Rankings..

Way to go Torrey Pines!! After years of flying under the radar with lots of outstanding players, it's time they got some notice.

Pretty cool to see two teams(Bishop kelley,owasso) I have played against this year in the National top 25

Did you do well against them?

I caught 2 innings against Bishop Kelley,did fine.We lost 8-6 if Im correct

We lost 5-2 against owasso and I didnt play,but man where they good.Big guys with power.

It appears that you and your team did well enough against these powerhouse teams.

You should feel good about your accomplishments and feel confident that you played well.

You have also shown me alot of class by showing your respect for these bigger, stronger teams. You didn't knock them...you admire them...that's a good and healthy attitude to have.

Hopefully if I can win the starting job my sophomore year(next year) I can have a greater impact on the outcome on the game.Learned alot just from watching and you can bet I took some mental notes.Also have the Owasso Game on tape.

I would be wary to assume that all of the records listed in the USA Today rankings are correct. #13 Lynn Haven Mosley is more like 20-6 instead of 23-3 that they are listed, and didn't even win their District. They are still alive in the Regional playoffs since both teams in the district finals qualify.

I would not be surprised to see Mission Bay HS of San Diego included in the USA Today list. Mission Bay beat Thousand Oaks of LA in doubleheader on Saturday and stands at overall record of 20 -3 with seven of nine starters returning in 2007.

How is Courtney Morgan playing?

I watched several games in that Lions Tourney here in san diego and Torrey appears to be hitting their stride. Fallbrook is also a great team that is playing well. As you know the ball here in SOCAL is pretty competitive and one tourney can drop you in the rankings very fast. Agoura HighSchool in L.A. obviously has an amazing team too.

Mission Bay and Torrey right now are definitely playing well though! Good Job!
