Does anybody have any experience with the United State Amateur Baseball Federation (USABF) World Series to be held in San Diego August 2-11?

Also, does anyone know about NV Baseball? They apparently are a glove making company that also runs a select team baseball program and put together teams for the World Series. Are they trustworthy?

We have been to the USABF World Series 4 times and I personally think that it is the greatest.

San Diego is a great town with great weather. The competition is good to very good. Tijuana for a day is a eye opener for the kids.

You might find better competition elsewhere, but you will be hard pressed to find a better city to host a large tournament.

My son was contacted a few years ago about playing for NV Baseball. We did not take them up on the offer, but my limited investigations into their operation showed them to be legit. I do know that they did indeed have teams and booths at the tournament.
Rob, it's a large tournament that has been going on for a few years now. We don't play in it, but instead compete in the West Coast Summer Series, which is held a week earlier in the same area. The Summer Series gets about 5 western Washinton teams each year, in addition to a bunch of California teams and a few from other states. You'll find guys who like each of the tournaments, both have good reputations. Great venues that time of year. Lots of people make it a family vacation. One thing to possibly consider with USABF, it conflicts with the Area Code Games on dates. I don't know if that applies, but it might be a consideration.

If you're looking to put your son on a team, you might want to look into some of the Washinton teams near you. Also, please PM me so that we can talk more about this. I'd like to talk to you about some things I don't want to post here.
