Is there anyone who can speak to the USCAA baseball experience? It looks like these are very small colleges with under 2k enrollment, primarily branch campuses of larger schools.
It looks like they play a schedule against other USCAA schools and some D3s and JUCOs.

High level, there are ~28 colleges that compete in USCAA,
Majority in PA, OH and VA have 3 each.
Rosters tend to be from local student athletes.
Is this closer to the D3 level?

I went to the USCAA website. One of the first things to come up was a Southern Maine Community College pitcher was pitcher of the week. SMCC is a mediocre D3 JuCo program. There are also four year colleges on the member list.
