I loved this story and just wanted to share. It's nice on several levels, including his praise for small schools, how he manages his time, coming back from injury, and his hopes for the future....just a great-sounding young man.

Thanks for posting this Bordeaux Smile

quote:
"I've been playing since I was 5," Hall said. "Because of the joy I get from playing, I owe it to myself to continue as long as I can."

As a freshman, he said he had "some crazy ideas" about starting immediately. Instead, he redshirted.

Notice he talks about the joy he gets from the game. That could have been a lot of our sons making that same statement.

Secondly, notice how he talks about crazy ideas of starting immediately. Kids learn when they move on to the next level. Those guys ahead of you were stars in high school in their own right and are now two, three, or four years stronger in most cases.
