Any predictions? I think Rupp hits 4 home runs during the series and UT wins it in three games.

I'd love to see UT win.. but I'm starting out just hoping LSU doesn't run-rule them in two games...
UT has that chemistry-thing going, get a big performance at right time, but while the Horns were scrapping by BOSTON COLLEGE! in 25 innings, barely beating Army and then escaping at home against TCU...
LSU was whomping on a Rice team which was 2-0 vs. UT this year and was probably better than CWS qualifiers UVA, Ark and Southern Miss

Great game! It is obvious that these are the best 2 teams in the country. I sure like the 2 out of 3 format in the championship.
Having said that, things don't look good for the Horns right now. They were my pick to win it and I'll stick with that pick. I am rooting for LSU though because of the summers I spent down there working Coach Bertman's camps. LSU is a special place in that baseball truly matters. I learned alot from Coach Bertman and his staff and credit them for alot of my development as a coach. It is great to see him and his wife in Omaha.

Not a knock on anyone, as I know alot of the kids on that team and respect them a ton, but from a position player standpoint, Texas looks like one of the weaker teams to be in the CWS finals in a long time. Interesting though that their pitching, defense and timely offensive execution have carried them this far.
Horns down the Tiggers tonight behind a dominating performance from Jungmann. Now, it's Cole Green's turn. For a kid who almost died in an accident when he was 14 this is truly a cinderella story! I'll bet Mitch won't get an hour of sleep tonight.

I have trouble separating Ventura commentating with Ventura getting his butt whipped by Nolan Ryan. LOL
