Virginia Marlins World Baseball League

Anyone with any thoughts on the Virginia Marlins or their World Baseball League?

I know they also have a collegiate league but don't much else about them.

Anyone have any information on this summer league or team? Son has been asked to play for them. Seems expensive for a collegiate league. They are charging $995 for one month of play.

My son invited to play for couple of games last year. Don't know much other than this. Very competitive. Practice and games 6 days weekly. If you decide to do that make sure son is ready and motivated for the daily grind of summer baseball.
