TR,enjoy your time away. I'm clueless about which attack your refering to but it might do you some good to go and enjoy family, friends and the weather. Go see that other team in NY play and BBQ a pork steak or two. I only say other team because only one team gets much air time around here. As far as the site goes, opinions are like &^(holes. Everyone has one. Don't take any of this too seriously.

TR, I have always read your post and learned from them. You are very knowledgable and an asset to this website.

If you are taking a vacation, I think you deserve it, please enjoy. But if you mind that you are taking it because some stupid is bothering you,...come on, that exactly is what they want.

TRHit, enjoy the vacation time with your family. I don't know what you are referring too, but my wishes are with you and your family. I have always, always found you comments both insightful and very knowledgeable. You have previously traveled the path that we are now on with our son, and we have appreciated all you comments and concerns. Take care and hope to hear again from you soon, the fields family.

I can understand how such a stupid post would get under your skin, but you must realize how ignorant and little people like that appear. Take care of yourself and hopefully we'll see you soon.

For those of you who don't know what TRhit is referring to, take a look at the posting from new member, "TRbooty" on the thread, "DUH!!!" Talk about lame, rude and personal. It out does Teacherman...unless it IS Teacherman posting under a new "nom de plume."

Being personally insulting to TRhit's son is a new low...whoever made that post is cowardly SCUM!

Im in favor of people being banned when they make personal attacks on anyone here. If you dont have anything positive to add shut up. I dont have a problem with someone disagreeing with me in fact I like to hear their views. You learn from others regardless of wether you agree with them or not. But attacking people is pointless especially with personal attacks. I have quit going to other sites for the most part because its a bunch of people busting on oneanother and their kids ability. And its people pumping their kids while putting down other kids. This site is the only site I have found where you can go and learn from others and express your baseball views and hopefully help someone else that you dont even know. Take a break TR and I will see you this summer and fall down here.

First and foremost I think you and many of the other "Old Timers" to be very knowlegable and I truly appreciate all that you contribute to this site. I find it frustrating that some people take advantage of anonymity and take personal shots. I agree with Coach May, people should be banned if they make personal attacks. Like the old saying "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"
If you must take a "vacation", we all understand. Enjoy your time off. We will welcome you back with open arms...

Coach May has said what I wanted to say. This is getting really annoying. You have been nothing but kind, polite, and helpful to me and others.

To you knuckleheads out there, everyone has feelings and your shallow attempts at disrupting the site will ultimately fail. I do believe God is watching and you will get yours someday.

A 50 year old, ex D-2, bull pen catcher, (from the 70’s) who would rather try to hurt people than help them.

TRhit deserves to take a break here. He has made a lot of sacrifices to serve a lot of folks for many years. On the other hand, you (and your thoughtless 1-2 liners) only appear to serve a select few (you being one).

“Beat that chest”. I want you to understand that I do it with joy, each time it occurs to me that my sons never played for someone as selfish, disrespectful and unfair as you.

When I played (also in the 70s), players like you sometimes got the lights turned out on them in the locker room and received a butt whoppin. Now, as a coach today, I would never allow this to happen but I have to admit, if I knew it was you in there, I would certainly take my time getting in there to break it up.

Lastly, I respect this board and its posters quite a bit and do not care to participate in “cat and mouse”, “stick and move” threads with you (sorry). However, I will be in St. Louis on business soon if you care to discuss any of this in person.
