not a very good team, carry about 40 players maybe more, i think they have JV, friend of mine is a catcher there, recruit mostly out of Illinois and Indiana. Play in the Mid- Continent confrence D1
I noticed they have a young team. How does your friend like playing there, school, coaches?

my son, now a college sr played summer baseball several yr ago with several Valpo guys - this was in the Great Lakes Wood Bat League
The Valpo guys had skills comparable to everyone else on the team and fit in just fine.
I believe a couple are in pro ball somewhere today.
Also I did meet the father of one of the guys (an Ohio player) & he indicated that his son loved it there (he's now graduated and working)
I really don't follow them, but any program will have up & down years

Did an unofficail visit. Spoke w/parents. Was not impressed with what I heard. My son knows a couple players on the team so we decided to check it out. Facilities not so great. My feeling after the visit was the program was not that great. I could be very wrong. Just my impression.
