Thanks. I understand TR's view, and made the same suggestion myself, but you never know what will make someone a bit less comfortable.

Coaches want to deal directly with the kids, and the kids want to show they can handle it. But the reality is, the coaches have ample experience handling adult discussions and kids have much less. And in most instances, the coaches speak from a position of power and authority, and even the most mature teenager can feel intimidated.

Sometimes it's easier to smooth out the nerves than to make EVERYTHING feel like a challenge. He's still going to place the call himself. In fact, knowing him, it'll happen when I'm not even around! So don't worry about me trying to talk him through it!

Now, if only I could figure out how and when we're going to get there ....

P.S. to TPM -- not to worry, still talking to Clemson, too! Going down there Feb. 17, that one's already scheduled!

Kopp family will be in full force that weekend!

And when a certain Kopp flame thrower is on the hill guess who's leading the charge! Big Grin
In that case, stay to the side or back. Just teasin' TPM, I've seen some mothers who were very supportive when their sons were on the hill Smile
PS. I took my 13yr old to Vandy last year and he caught a shirt at the ball game.
