This from the Wall Street Journal: “Researchers from the Tohoku University School of Medicine (Japan) found players who spent three or more hours daily on video games were 5.6 times more likely to have felt elbow or shoulder pain in the prior year than those who played video games for less than an hour a day.’’

The study of elite young baseball players will be published in the September issue of the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
